Actually, it's all kind of confusing, since the credits in the movie list Sally as being named Sally O'Malley, and in the narration of the movie they say 'a man called McDodd', or something like that. I don't know what exactly is going on there....

EXACTLY! .... But..I can imagine her being..FORCED to be with one of them or someone in the Jurisdiction, and then over time, she just gets used to it... and can't decide if she wants to leave it or not. She's a little spacey...and...yet..she's firm...and seems like someone who'd say something JUST to keep things in HER favor.... Ned being busy almost 24/7 He doesn't have any time for her anymore really..! Only 12 seconds for the kids and who knows HOW short for her, except for when they're asleep at night, which after a long day is usually all he wants to do. She needs SOMETHING to relieve her tension some how and turns else where for it...! Because, it's in the contract anyways, or so the Council or...etc told Ned... and Ned is/was naive enough back then that he thought they were serious! He didn't wanna lose out on his Mayor title because of one little thing..! ....then he learned later...that it was all a scam, but now he couldn't back out.. XD....

Poor Ned........... <.< Just my take on it. I'm gonna do a fic and a comic based on it. Started drawing it already.
